I Dream of Sushi is a cute little Japanese restaurant with a seperate vegan menu, conveniently situated opposite the Moonee Ponds train station. Classics such Agedashi Tofu ($10) and Tofu Don ($14) are on offer, along with a Bento of the Day ($15) where you can often expect crunchy fried mixed veggies, tofu steak, edamame, steamed rice and whatever else is on offer that day. Whatever you go for, it’ll be fresh, tasty and quick.
There is limited bench seating inside, but takeaway is also an option. Do be aware that this isn’t a fully vegan place, and our fish friends are often on display in the glass cabinet.
